【Biography】

Zhenggang Lian, PhD, CTO of YOEC. He obtained PhD degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Nottingham in 2010, then he joined the Optoelectronics Research Centre at the University of Southampton as a post-doc. In 2014, he served as CTO of YOEC.He has over 18 years of experience in the synthesis and processing of specialty optical fiber materials and the preparation and testing of optical fibers.

He has filed over 40 Chinese patents and published or co-authored more than 100 SCI-indexed papers. He led his team in establishing a complete system for the development and application of specialty optical fibers, building the Hubei Specialty Optical Fiber Engineering Technology Research Center. They have developed and customized nearly 60 types of specialty optical fibers for domestic enterprises, major universities, and research institutes through self-research and joint efforts. The specialty optical fibers achievements awarded the Hubei Province Science and Technology Progress Award once and the scientific and Technological Progress Award of Chinese Society for Optical Engineering (CSOE) twice.
