【Biography】
Professor at The School of Instrumentation and Optoelectronic Engineering, Beihang University, Joint Professor at the Sustainable Photonics Research Center, Hangzhou International Innovation Institute. He received his Bachelor's and Ph.D. degrees from the School of Physics at Harbin Institute of Technology. During his doctoral studies, he participated in a joint training program at the Microsystems Laboratory of École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL). He later conducted postdoctoral research at the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) was subsequently promoted to Senior Research Fellow.
He has published over 50 research papers in leading journals, including Nature Nanotechnology, Nature Electronics, Nature Reviews Electrical Engineering, Nature Communications, Science Advances, and various Wiley and ACS series journals. Several of his papers have been featured as cover articles or highlighted studies. His work has been widely reported by Phys.org, ScienceDaily, CNA, and other international media. He serves as a reviewer for prestigious journals, including those published by Nature, AAAS, Wiley, ACS, and Elsevier, and is a Youth Editorial Board Member of Nano-Micro Letters, and a Guest Editor for Nanomaterials and Polymers. He has been involved in multiple research projects funded by the Singapore National Research Foundation, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Singapore-Israel Joint Research Program, and corporate R&D projects with companies such as THALES (France) and Lite-On.
During his time abroad, he supervised and co-supervised over 10 undergraduate, Ph.D., and visiting scholars from the U.S., Denmark, Japan, Singapore, and China. Many of his students have been selected for the Global Young Scientists Summit and have received Best Paper and Best Presentation Awards at international conferences, as well as the Chinese Government Award for Outstanding Self-Financed Students Abroad.
