【Biography】Su Liap Tat, Senior Researcher, is the Director of the National Additive Manufacturing Innovation Cluster (NAMIC Hub@SP) at Singapore Polytechnic. He has extensive experience in the high-pressure inert gas atomization process for industrial 3D printing metal powders. Previous projects involved a wide range of engineering alloys, as well as new materials such as metallic glass and high entropy alloys, utilized in industries such as construction, maritime, and oil and gas.

【Research interests】Dr.Su’s research revolves around customizing metal powders for various metal additive manufacturing processes while tailoring material microstructures and properties.
