2025 International Summer School “Risks in New Aviation and New Energy” is a distinctive civil aviation-themed international summer school hosted by the Hangzhou International Innovation Institute of Beihang University and organized by the Smart Aviation Center.
The Summer School presents an exceptional opportunity to delve into the risks within the new energy and new aviation domains. It serves as a vibrant hub where students and professionals from across the globe converge. Through dynamic academic exchanges and hands-on practical explorations, they share state-of-the-art knowledge and invaluable experiences. This not only kindles innovative thinking but also forges cooperation opportunities. Together, they confront industry challenges head-on, propelling the development and advancement of these fields.
This 12 - day project will run from July 8 to July 19, 2025, offering a balanced approach that integrates theoretical and practical learning. The theoretical component will deliver cutting-edge research findings and industry insights, providing participants with the most up-to-date knowledge in the field. Through cultural immersion sessions, students will explore not only Hangzhou’s scenic landscapes and intangible cultural heritage sites, but also experience its modern digital innovations. Meanwhile, the experimental modules will enable participants to implement theoretical concepts in authentic contexts, enhancing their technical proficiency and problem-solving capabilities.
With a total of 100 students, including 50 international and 50 domestic students, the program creates a diverse and dynamic learning environment. Students will have the chance to interact with peers from various backgrounds, broadening their perspectives and building a global professional network. This international summer school is not just an academic journey but also a platform for personal growth and career development in the exciting fields of “New Aviation and New Energy”.

Eligibility：

1 Register as full-time Master student or PhD student at foreign university or domestic university.
2 Demonstrated interest in New Aviation and New Energy;
3 Have proof of proficiency in English.
