Beihang International Summer School 2025
Bioengineering Summer School
Bioengineering Summer School is held by Medical Engineering & Engineering Medicine Innovation Center (ME&EMIC) in Hangzhou International Innovation Institute of Beihang University. It will be run from July 13th to 27th in a lively, student-friendly city-Hangzhou in China. It is an opportunity to explore the rich history and natural beauty of China as well as communicate with worldwide experts in bioengineering. The program includes two sections. Week 1 (Sunday 13 July - Saturday 19 July) focuses on academic excellence, featuring lectures and hands-on workshops led by globally recognized experts. Participants will delve into advanced topics such as biomechanics for cardiovascular devices, smart biomaterials for tissue engineering, and AI-driven medical device prototyping. Interactive sessions will include workshops on 3D-printed implants and wearable health monitoring systems, fostering collaboration and innovation. Week 2 (Sunday 20 July - Saturday 26 July) combines industry exposure with cultural immersion. Students will tour leading Chinese biomedical enterprises. Cultural excursions will highlight the heritage in Hangzhou, including visits to Lingyin Temple, West Lake, traditional silk workshops, and green tea garden. The program concludes on July 27 with departure arrangements. It is suitable for the current students and recent graduates from the universities out of China and holding Non-Chinese Passport. Proof of proficiency in English is required. Welcome to apply for Bioengineering Summer School at Beihang University.
